IGBO-ETITI ICT INFRASTRUCTURE UPGRADE - FREE HIGH-SPEED INTERNET/WIFI

The project is aimed at renovating & upgrading the existing ICT center to a 24-hour solar powered center with free Wi-Fi connectivity to cover the entire LG headquarters and its environs.

The local government administration, in line with the changing culture in communication, where information and communications technology, ICT, drives activities, and many have increasingly come to depend on this for business and social relationship, boldly chose to make the infrastructure available to our people. In rejigging the ICT center, the government bears in mind to retool our people with the capacity to be relevant in modern communication culture. This is why apart from training and direct services, the facility through the availability of Wi-Fi broadbands, will offer to our people a rich and free portal of connectivity to the world, thereby widening their scope as well as bringing the wider world close to their doorsteps.
